The Kahuna: A Political Assassinator?Posted: June 4, 2014
When the United States annexed Hawaii, some people thought this event would stop the kahuna. However, kahuna warned prominent native Hawaiians supporting annexation that they would suffer. Soon, they mysteriously died.
After annexation, native Hawaiian Daniel Naone angered his fellow Hawaiians by siding with the Caucasian population and supporting annexation in Hawaii.
Reportedly, a kahuna spoke to Naone about his past sins, suddenly pointed to Naone’s shoulder, and said, “There’s a red devil sitting on your right shoulder. I have seen him there for years. You are doomed to die.”
